What is a paper stamp card alternative?
A paper stamp card alternative keeps the card on the customer's phone instead of in a pocket. You stop reprinting when the reward changes. Staff still confirm each visit. Start includes 100 free stamps a month, then R1 per stamp, capped at R199. Shop is R199 a month or R1,990 a year.
What goes wrong with a paper stamp card?
Paper cards get lost, left in a coat or copied by anyone with the same stamp. You pay again each time you change the artwork or the offer. You also cannot see who came back, because the card never tells you. A digital card stays with the mobile number and updates when you edit the reward.
How do I switch without scanning old cards?
XEQT Loyalty does not read hole punches and it does not import a paper card. Put the QR code where the paper cards used to sit and start from the next visit. If you want to honour a paper card that is already started, that is your decision at the till, inside the stamp limits you set.
What does it cost compared with reprinting?
Printing looks cheap until you reprint the whole stack. Start includes 100 free stamps a month, then R1 per stamp, capped at R199. Shop is R199 a month or R1,990 a year. Setting the card up yourself is free. A separate fee covers done for you.
What else do these shops ask?
Can you copy the punches from my paper cards?
No. Old paper cards are not scanned in. The digital card starts from the next visit the customer makes. You may still choose to add stamps for a paper card you decide to honour.
What if the customer loses their phone?
The stamps stay with the mobile number, not with a piece of card. Staff can keep stamping that number from the till. If the wallet card is not on the new phone yet, the number is still enough.
Do customers need an app instead of the paper card?
No. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet hold the card. Customers do not install an XEQT app. The QR code at the till is the replacement for the stack of paper.
Is the digital card more expensive than paper?
Start includes 100 free stamps a month, then R1 per stamp, capped at R199. Shop is R199 a month or R1,990 a year. You are not paying for a reprint each time the reward changes. Billing is in rand.
