What do shop owners ask about XEQT Loyalty?
XEQT Loyalty gives a café, barber, salon or restaurant a stamp card on the customer's phone. There is no app to download. Start includes 100 free stamps a month, then R1 per stamp, capped at R199. Shop is R199 a month or R1,990 a year. These answers match those prices.
How do digital stamp cards work?
You choose a reward and the number of visits that earn it. A customer scans your QR code and agrees to join. The card saves to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Staff confirm a real visit and the stamp shows on the phone.
Do my customers need an app?
No. They do not download an XEQT app. They scan your QR code or open your link and add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which are already on the phone. The stamp updates on that card.
How much does a digital loyalty card cost?
Start is free for your first 100 stamps each month, then R1 per stamp, capped at R199. Shop is R199 a month or R1,990 a year for unlimited stamps. As a guide in US dollars, extra stamps are $8 per started block of 100 stamps after that and Shop is $13 a month or $119 a year. Shops are billed in rand and nothing is charged in US dollars.
Does it work with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet?
Yes. An iPhone saves an Apple Wallet pass and an Android phone saves a Google Wallet pass. Stamps update on the card after staff confirm the visit. The first save needs a tap and later updates are pushed to the phone.
What do my staff do at the till?
Staff ask for the customer's mobile number or scan the card, then tap Stamp. It takes a few seconds on any phone. A phone on its own is enough. A till system can connect later.
What counts as a stamp?
One stamp is one visit that your staff confirm. A reversed stamp comes off the month's bill. Redeeming a free reward is not a stamp. The same customer cannot be stamped again until the programme's wait has passed.
What if I go over the free stamps on Start?
You pay R1 per stamp for each stamp after the free ones. The bill is sent at the end of the month. It never goes above R199. When the bill reaches that cap, the shop is moved to Shop for the rest of the month.
Can I try Shop before paying?
Yes. New shops get Shop free for 30 days and no card is taken to start. After that, choose Shop or stay on Start. Start can be used without a trial because the first stamps each month are free.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Monthly Shop can be cancelled any time and it stops at the end of the month. A yearly Shop payment is refunded in full within 30 days of payment. There is no refund after that.
Can someone fake a stamp?
A visit code works once and expires after a few minutes. The same customer cannot be stamped again too soon. Staff cannot stamp their own card. Repeated failures are kept in the audit log.
